I Thought Wrong!

When I bought my P5, the choice on color was clear. Red, red, red. I thought that Classic Red would be one of the most popular colors of P5. Boy, was I wrong! I've only ever seen 2 other rec P5's in NW Calgary, and, only one white one. Everywhere I look, it's Yellow, Blue, and Silver. Black is less common, but there's 2 at my school alone. Yellow and Silver have to take the cake for popularity.

Not saying there's anything wrong with the other colors, in fact, all P5's are pretty to me. I just like having a "rare" (so to speak) color is all...

Anyone else notice the color minority intheir city, or is it just a Calgary thing?

And Andrew, feel free to jump in on the "red kicks ***" debate here!

in my town its a wash pretty much...there are sooooooooo few P-5's..

there are only TWO yellows...one is mine
then there are only ONE black (my wifes), ONE red, ONE silver, ONE MIDNIGHT blue, and ONE white, thats it. and we rarely EVER see any of the others when we are out driving around. every once in a while I see the guy with the red one...and one of the silvers...as he works here at the plant too...but I don't know who it is.

I know there are a few out there, but I've only ever seen ONE P5, and that was black.

As far as G3 Protege, I've seen a few.

I've seen a few Miatas

But as far as the car line 626 win's the prize.

Altgether, with the trucks, cars and MPV, I see maybe a total of two dozen Mazdas.

Hondas on the other hand are like shooting fish in a barrel. Too many to count.

I have only seen 1 p5 in my town and it was white. I have seen 2 sedans. 1 white and 1 tan. Both were LXs. So I am the only one in my town with silver. And the only one with an ES. But my town is small and crapy so it shouldn't count. One nice thing is that there aren't too many ricers. Only two. One is a red Mitsu Mirage with giant wing, red led washers, and chrome everywhere. The other is a Blue nissan 200sx (I think, it looks like a 2 door sentra) with everything the Mirage has except its wing is aluminum.

I was told by the guy at the dealership that only 2% of P5's sold in North America were yellow.

Seems a little bit fishy to me though.

I live in the SE, and I haven't seen any other P5's parked in my area. I don't think that I've ever seen a white one... Mostly blue ones.

I see every color but yellow. Seeing a yellow P5 makes my day. Most of the P5s in my area are black, red, blue, and silver. White is also rare for me, but I still see it a lot more than yellow.
