Well I had the same difficulty ( a young chick's fault) and HER company (Geico) paid me based on what is called "Fair Market Value", roughly 80% of book value. And with the high miles on that ride (Elantra Wagon), I was a hurtin'... I had heard Hyundai's have NO resale value, and that proved it!

But that got me into the Mazda Protege, so all in all... I still took a hurtin', but it was worth it !!!

You should try & get in touch w/Motegi. I think she went thru this not too long ago. Her car wasn't totalled by the Ins. Co., but got some really cool stuff with the insurance check.

yeah man just see, if its not totalled then you can get some nice aftermarket parts, if its totalled then you can get a nice Mazda 3, eitherway man, its a win win situation...except for the fact that u wont have a car for a bit

HEY, they are jacked so they can go off road. That is what we like doing with our 4x4's. Meanwhile some car owners lower their cars for speed purposes. To each their own.. but don't bash them because of what happened. It was an accident.

and another thing the car is for the most part totaled so im thinking im gonna get a mx-3 for like 3 or 4000 and get a 94 cbr f2 for like 3,500 so ill have a desent car and a bike which ive always wanted......

yeah the mx-3's are pretty bad *** a buddy of mine has one it it gets up and goes but really any mx-3 you finds gonna have some milege on it so you gotta do some motor work but thats all good but now i think im gonna just get a 2002 cbr f4i and chill with that for a bit till i can fig out how the hell im gonna pay for it seeming it was 429 to start i can just amain what its gonna be after this clam...ya know?

 

well let it be known that i am getting my car back not to happy about the whole thing but i am getting it back after they put almost $4000 into it(shyt wish that was $4000 in mods i was putting into it but its all good) i should be getting the car in like a week and ahalf 2 at the most they got alot to do to it......
ill post all the things there doing to it tonight im gonna call and get a list of everthing there replacing........SO ILL BE BACK!!!
