Hello, new member
Just finally registering. I'm in the process of putting my 00 Civic Si back to stock to trade in on a Silver 5sp P5. A few more weeks and I shall have it. Sure it has less power than my Si, but I'm in need of a more practical car and I've loved how the P5 looked since it came out. But with the Si only having 2 doors its been a pain in the *** to put my son's car seat in the back. I can't wait to get the P5 since I test drove one about a week ago. Just thought I'd drop in and say hi. http://www.clubsi.com has and will always be my online home, but I'm interested to see the specific Protege information that this site has to offer.

Thanks for registering and i'm glad to see that your getting a p5. Of course the SI is faster but I think you'll like the p5 more. Better Styling and Handling. This forum is still very new and is growing rapidly so I hope you enjoy it.

thanks guys, i've been working my *** off the past few days putting the Si back to stock. yesterday we installed the stock suspension without air tools. tonight i removed my white faced gauges and started swapping the rails from my del sol seats back onto my stock seats. its been a long few days. "major honda expert? huh? well, i have pretty good general knowledge about honda civics, but i'm no expert. yall should come visit the site, it started off being dedicated to the 99-00 Si, but its become a home to a wide range of automobile enthuasist(sp?). like i said i cant wait to get my P5.

GOK!
Glad to see you are making the switch from honda to mazda. i have seen you around the SI forum a lot, and look forward to your customizations on your protege5.
i too have gone from a civic to the protege, but my wife now gets to drive the civic. both are sedans.
anyway, welcome to the club.
