Exclamation Got Pulled over for the first time....

Well I had an intersting night..... Left campus at about 1:30 with some friends to go get some food aka Ice Cream and Chex Mix. Got to the gas station where we were getting it from and I found that I didn't have my wallet. Anyway, I had some cash and got Chex mix and a Sobe drink. We left the gas station and I was DOING THE SPEED LIMIT, on the way back when I see this cop, going the oppisite direction swerve into a parking lot, turn around and pull in behind me... I just thought that he was a rice-hater and was waiting for me to go 1 mph over the speed limit... man I love cruise control, even at 35 mph. Anyway, there go the lights and who here can guess the first word out of my mouth??? Anyway, I pull over and put my flashers on. And think about my excuse for not having my wallet, and contemplate my lot in life The officer walks up and I hear the infamous words: "License, Registration, and proof of insturance, please." I reach into my glovebox first and grab the registration and insurance tickets, hand it to him and then confess that I didn't have my wallet with me. His reply: "Son, please shut the car off and step out of the vehicle please." That sucked. My on friend was just sitting there eating his tub of ice cream and the other (his girlfiend) was scared shitless.... I got out and he asked me to step to the back of the car. I weas being very polite with him so I hoped that he'd be nice. He told me that he pulled me over for one of my obnoxiously bright foglights being out of alignment and blinding him and other oncoming traffic. He also asked him where we were coming from, and I told him. He then continued the questions with why so late? And I told him that we have had a rough night, emotionally speaking, and that we just needed to get out... That followed with the obvious question, "Have you had any alcohol tonight?" No "have any of the passengers had any alcohol?" No. He then told me to search my car for anything with my name on it and to give it to him. I went back and searched for ANYTHING I could find. I was almost getting frantic when I felt around under my passenger side seat and felt my wallet. I gave my license to him and he sent me on my way, no ticket, no nothing, just said to get the fogs fixed. I was sweating it a little there, as you can guess.... I kinda wish I had my camera with me so I could take a pic of it.

When was the first time you got pulled over and why?

True, the cop only asked if he'd had any alcohol.

First time I got pulled over was by a Stateboy on the PA Turnpike.
Got a ticket for going a laughable 67 in a 55. The State cops in PA used to be real hardasses, but things have changed a lot since then...
Nowadays on the highways (at least around Pittsburgh) if you're not going 70 you'll be flipped off, tailgated or at the very least, passed by. And I mean passed by mini-vans and SUVs with half-crazed Moms speeding to the next Wal-mart sale or middle-aged guys (myself excluded) with freaking cell-phones taking root in their ears, cruising along in the ol' Regal and oblivious to anything actually on the highway.
The cops will completely ignore you unless:

You are anything other than caucasian.
You drive anything with a half-painted body kit and/or a fart-can.

Hey flyin I thought you loved your foglights. I take it you wont be doing anything about it.

I got pulled over for doin 90 in a 65, on the parkway, I like to drive offensivly. I got off with a warning, that was before I got the cannon and lights put in though, I think it would be worse now.

You have to ask your self were you pulled over becusae you had your friends in the car or would you have gotten pulled over anyway. I think most cops see a car filled with people and they can almost instinctually tell that someone's been drinkin, or hittin the wacky tabake.

The wallet thing really doesnt matter, even if you didnt have it he would have at worst given you a small ticket for it. As long as its not a moving violation no one has to know about it. See keeping your car religiosly clean is somethimes a bad thing, you almost did'nt have something to show him.

first time i got pulled over was for speeding at 130mph in a 70mph zone in a vw jetta, but the cop caught me at 90mph cuz i slammed on the brakes. I was pretty luck, he could have arrested me excessive speeding.

Get those fogs pointed down as much as you can...I had trouble adjusting mine too...not much room in there!!...I rarely get pulled over...Must be one of the luxuries i enjoy being a white boy I did get pulled over quite a few times after 2Fast 2 Furious came out...So if you can believe it I know how it feels to be profiled...profiled as a ricer ...Usually just being nice and polite gets you the best results possible

When I was in highschool I got pulled over doing 60mph in a 35mph... oops, I took the ticket to court and got off with no points and a reduced fine. When I was in the Army I used to get pulled over all the time, but never got any tickets

my first ticket was in my dads car. i was 17 and stupid, but hey... im 20 and still stupid, lol.
ne way, my dad owned a 2002 maxima se 25th anniversary edition.. that thing hauled serious *** ~ unrelated note... got her up too 200kmh on the highway coming back from abbostford~
i took off the traction control and mashed the go forward maker and peeled out and around the corner 20 some odd feet. all of a sudden the red and blue thing starts happening and im like.... thats a shame... he gave me a ticket for un nessasary (spelling) noise and cost me $85 and 3 points.. he would have thrown everything in the book at me, but this was around 2 in the A.M. and he let it slide.. needless to say i was a good boy till i got my 02 pro. next ticket was for going 140 in a 90 zone. oops
