Now THIS I can complain about. Home shopping is frigging TOUGH!! Especially in a market that's inflated like the Goodyear blimp. Frigging Long Island.....
Okay - back to gas prices. I'm paying about $1.75/gallon these days - seems to go up every day.
Oh - and another thing. One of these days, I will take the time to finish up my learning about the commodities market. Because while we bitch and complain, and war is threatnening, those "in the know" are making FORTUNES off the petroleum futures market. And those same people will make MORE fortunes when the prices go DOWN, too.
Every time the price of gas goes up, all I can think about is the people (Americans, BTW - not some Iraqi or oil executive) making lifetimes of money right then and there. I gotta get in on this **** someday.....

Your property tax in New York souns good. In N.H tax is about $26.00 dollars per thousand for a $300,000.00 house about $7,800.00 per year. Yes no income tax about all good jobs are in mass where you pay income tax a 5.3 %. Got you comming and going.

So much for "live free or die"
For those who are not near NH, their license plate says "live free or die" on it. As soon as you drive in to the state you have to pay a toll- It's not so free there

And I'd like to see what $300k gets you in NH vs. what it'll get you on Long Island. You can't buy a shack for less than $250k here.
I'd take a slight increase in property tax in exchange for no income tax ANY day.

take a look and see what you can get. The further from metro boston the better the prices.
