I used to be hooked on Agatha Cristie when I was 13.....

I also loved the book on which a movie was made recently, the Count of Monte Cristo......

haven't seen the movie yet though.

I'm not a book nerd! I'm the mystery/action type hehhe

The count of monte cristo is a wicked book and the original movie is pretty good too. Ol' Count is one cold mother funker.

Animal Farm, by George Orwell.
Is that any relation to the movie starring Chevy Chase?

Actually I know it's not. That's the one about the animals that take over the farm and set up a system of gov't? I remember someone telling me about it, and I wanted to read it, but forgot about it....

Yup, basically a huge metaphor for the communistic overtake and history of russia, told though the setting of a farm.
Excellent - i'll definitly pick that one up. And the Carl Sagan books too. Now that I have a house with a nice bookshelf, I have to populate it with nice books!

No man - I've honestly never even heard about it, but I checked it out on chapters.ca and it looks pretty slick!! Add that one to my list of books to read!

Phillip K. Dick- Any of his books are worthy

Tom Holt- take every fairy tale and myth and legend(religion included) and smash them, adjust them and generally take an askew look at them.Hilarious!

Tom Clancy- Duh....

Robert Conrad- Heart of Darkness & other tales(dated but interesting)

Eric Idle- The Road to Mars(yes Monty Python's Eric Idle)

And a whole lot more(I like to read)
