How did I miss this thread...... yeah, love that song, especially the beat

Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and of course DJ Hi-Tek are necessary....
Outkast here n there, DJ Quik for when I want to relax.....
Gypsy Kings when I need to hype myself up before going out.....
Tha Alkaholiks if I don't need no hyping up before going out.....
2Pac whenever
Mr Cheeks, Jayo Felony, Method Man, are all rite, and I try to stay away as much as I can from DMX, Jay-Z, Nas, etc.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, K-OS, very hard to find his stuff, but he's got a cd coming out soon..... and no, not DJ K-OS, he's a hip-hop artist.....

Kardinal Offishall too.....

Sorry for the double post...

System get's a little hyper sometimes. Or it coulda been my 'trigger finger'... coffee & JOLT will do that to you sometimes.

As to 'who' Carmina Burana is.
Well, it's not a person (per se) or a group...
it's an opera.

The main song of which has been used in a f*ckton of movies, including The Doors, Waterworld, etc. (I know there are lots more, but those are the only two that I can come up with ATM) (My brain is conspitated)

The beat is AWESOME with some subs! Shakes the whole parking lot at school!

One should hope that you listen to your "namesake's" music! Jesus, what else does he go by these days? "The Realest, Makaveli," etc. He's not dead you know. Just taking a break. I mean c'mon, all those bulletts and not ONE hit the driver of the limo? Plus, I really don't think he had THAT much un-realeased material. Even still in his songs he refers to himself. I'm sure you've heard "F*ck Dre" by The Realest (sounds EXACTLY like Pac too...) Where he mentions "My ***** Makaveli" at the end, and even in "My Ambitionz Az A Rida" He says "Witness the realest!" Sure, I'm all for leaving hints to your return, but some are just a little to glaring to miss. All in all, dead or alive, one of the greatest rappers of our time.

Well, I do have my doubts as to whether or not he is in fact dead, but there's still something in the back of my mind that just keeps saying that something just doesn't add up. We'll see I guess, but like I sead before, dead or alive, one of the world's greatest for sure.

Moving on now, what styles of rap / hip-hop do you like? I'm more of a Dirty South kinda guy myself, but hey, Ruff Ryders are good, and nothing I mean NOTHING beats N.W.A.
