I'm on my third cell phone company and fourth physical phone.
First I had Aerial, which then became VoiceStream. When they merged with VoiceStream, the billing got all screwed up and I never once received a correct bill. Worst customer service ever, and the service didn't cover some cities that I travel to, so I dropped 'em.
Went with Sprint PCS when my son was born prematurely and stuck in intensive care for a month in Rochester, NY (one of the cities not covered by VoiceStream). When I came back home to Houston, I discovered that my neighborhood is in a "hole" in Sprint's coverage. They kept telling me they'd "make an adjustment" but of course that was crap and they never did anything about it. I really liked the Samsung N200 phone, though.
Now I have Verizon, and I'm finally a happy cell customer. Billing has been correct, coverage has been great both around here and where I've travelled, so I'm pleased. I have an LG phone which is OK but nothing to write home about.

I use Nextel, and I think it is the best phone service I have had so far. And it is great since everyone is getting them now, so you can use the direct connect. I barely use my phone now, I usually only use the 2-way.

None of the above. None of any. I can't stand cell phones, though I think I should get one for emergencies only. IF I get a cell I think I'll be going with Verizon though, sounds like they have some good plans.
