anybody have some weird and unusual things they do when washing their cars? also, how often do you guys wash them? any good tips?

since i am a detailer at nissan, i wash it every other day. i gotta have a clean car. i say if you treat it nice, it'll treat you nice back. i don't really have any weird washing habits. the only one is prolly two to three times a year i'll take out the front seats and shampoo all the carpets and floormats. and ya know what bugs me? when people don't kick their shoes on the door sill when getting in so the floormats are full of sand and snow and salt. pisses me right off.

 

Two or three (maybe more depending on the conditions) times a year, I'll take my wheels off and clean the backsides. While I have them off, I'll wipe down the brake and suspension components and as much of the underside of the car that I can.

If worst comes to worst, I'll even break out the toothbrush on several parts of the car.
