Cdn tire sells Meguiars. I think that is the best stuff around - mild and won't wreck your paint job.

Pretty much any car specific soap will work...i recently bought one of those Mr Clean Auto Dry contraptions and am thrilled at how well it washes and drys the car. We have pretty hard water where i live and not having to worry about water spots and not having to run around the car with a towel like a madman trying to get them all off is a breath of fresh air. Meguiars deep crystal stuff works good too, smells nice and has long lasting suds.

I looked at the Mr CLean Auto Dry. I have hard water where I live too. Where would u buy the starter soap and filters? IS the Meguiars just as good for hard water?

Hard water is hard water...no soap will fix it. The MR Clean Auto Dry thing has you rinse the vehicle with filtered water so it removes all the particles and minerals so it dries without the spots. Any auto supply or large retail store should sell the kits and all the consumables that go along with it.

Meguiars. Thats what I like. Remember never to use regular dish washing soap. Not good for paint. Lots of foam and bubbles is what I like.

I'd refrain from the Mr Clean Auto Dry kit crap. It leaves a film on your car that you'll noticed if someone or something rubs up against it (especialy if your card is black, or some other dark colour).

Then your doing something wrong...you should not have a film left on your car. Ive washed probably a dozen different colored cars with mine and dont get this "film".

Read the reviews in car mags, user forums, and other places...the MR Clean Autodry is about the best thing since sliced bread. I can personally tell you that i LOVE mine and cant imagine being without it.
