300 km/h in under 14 seconds
From a standing start, the Bugatti EB 16-4 Veyron passes the 300-km (186 mph) mark before 14 seconds have elapsed. A unique acceleration figure, even if largely a theoretical one. The real character of the Bugatti is to be sought in the unbelievable torque it places at the driver's disposal.
7-speed gearbox
New seven-speed gearbox with double clutch system
Had it not been developed specifically for the Bugatti EB 16-4 Veyron, the new seven-speed gearbox could well have come directly from the pen of a top Formula One racing car designer. Gear shifts take place sequentially at paddles behind the steering wheel, and there is no clutch pedal. The double clutch transmission (DCT) shifts from one gear to the next in a maximum of 0.2 of a second. Power from the engine reaches the wheels through a permanent all-wheel drive system.

turbo's are too small? hehe. yes... four of them though. add those to the sickness of the W engine, pushing like 1001(?) horsepower. oh yeah. I can't wait for the W engines to be put in the Passats. :] W engine, 4 motion, w00t!
