Car Addicts annoymous help me!
Well you all know of my problems with buying cars too much! well im most likely getting rid of both my current cars in favor of something a bit more potent. I have gotten offers on my cars, my SE-R for about $5000 (pay off a little debt, and put the rest to the new car), and the P5 as a straight up trade for the new car.
What is it? eh nothin special, just a 1999 Subaru WRX.... what you say no such thing in america in 99? lol true, well its actually a 2.5rs that has been fully converted to the wrx status, with a EJ20 swap, exterior and interior has also been changed. It has about 40k miles on it too as the dealer tells me, but he knows jack about the car otherwise (thank god! cause otherwise the price would be rediclous). its located somewhere outside chicago, and ive had my brother who lives near it check it out... it seems to be all good
looks like a great deal 250awhp sounds tasty...
HELP ME...lol i need a life other than buying cars constantly, haha

hehe
weight vs a true WRX? lol um about the same as a 1999 WRX (jdm of course).... compared to a 2002-2003 4door wrx in america it should weight considerably less.... ive been hearing 2800lb range
and of course it is a 2door :-D yes the wrx used to come in a 2 door version.... though the RS was available in a 4 door too
keep it stock? ehhhh well its far from stock, being a 2.5rs.... but it is stock for a 1999 JDM spec WRX pretty much, other than it is LHD

Yea, I do think you have a problem. I wouldn't sell both cars to get a wrx. Sure, it would be fast as hell, but you can make your se-r plenty quick. If it's ANYTHING like a newer wrx, they are dogs on the top end because of the awd sapping power, possibley even the power/torque curve.
Plus, to get a hella quick launch on a AWD you just dump the clutch, that's not too good on your reliability. So unless you beat the **** out of it, it wouldn't be much (if at all) quicker than a modded se-r. A similar powered SE-R (which isn't tought to get 250whp) would probably walk it on a roll.
Keep your two cars, or sell your SE-R to me
