Thumbs down 1rst ticket in my MSP

Last night on the freeway I see these pair of red lights speeding up behind me. I knew I was exceeding the speed limit and deserved it. So I pull over and the cop asks me how fast I thought I was going. I said about 80. He corrected me with a speed of 93! In a 65. So i hand him my licence and registration and he walks away. 5 Minutes later , he returns to my driver side door, and says "I love the color of your car". LOL he then proceeded to tell me that he has a deposit on a orange 350 Z. He was a nice cop, just not nice enough to let me go on a warning.

Well you won't be saying that about your insurance agent when your rates increase!
Too bad about your ticket; at least the Officer was cool about it... BTW, why did you let him catch you anyway??

Awww, now that's just adding insult to injury, isn't it? And why in the hell do the cops need a Suburban - extra doughnut space? Oh well, "Do not pass Go; Forfeit $200"

Fortunately, in (some parts of) CA you can go to "Driver's School" and get the point kept off the record. Unfortunately, you still have to pay the HUGE fine. Ten years ago, they waived the fine (you still had to pay an administrative fee), but the cost them too much revenue, so...now you pay the ticket, but at least there's no insurance surcharge if you keep it to one ticket per 18 months.

Do you have the option where you live to take defensive driving class and get the ticket dropped? sure is worth the time if you can....saves you all that insurance money seeing as how they never find out about the ticket....

and just remember ..... even though you could have out run his suburban....

YOU CAN NOT OUT RUN MOTAROLA!!!!
