I completely agree with you on everything....especially the intake comment...I thought we exhausted that subject a HELLA long time ago...WTF doesnt anyone know how to click the "search" button anymore...jeez....mabe we should have a "wack *** question" section in this forum...that way all the noobs can have endless discussions of intake and answer their own questions over and over and over again

since the millions of newbies have joined this board I have stopped coming to read AND/OR post. If it wasn't people bitching about their car, then they were bitching about seeing a fine *** girl in my sig. WTF is wrong with you people? Can't search, can't read, no money, complain all the time. I feel that this is an protege performance enthusiest board. If you aren't down with the protege, making it go faster or look better...GET THE **** OUTTA HERE!!!!

Hate to double post, but aren't you the one who has killed his engine twice? If so you're not supposed to agree with Wayne. HE WAS TALKING ABOUT YOU!!!! At least you don't blame Mazda for your fuckups. You just get them to fix it.....

That may be a bit harsh. I want to keep abreast of potential problems/concerns regarding the Pro...
While I do enjoy driving the little beast, it isn't exactly a race car, and never will be. It IS, however, an excellent handling automobile and reasonably priced.
Most of the "dumbass questions" seem to stem from folks wishing to make the Pro into something that it likely wasn't designed to be.
IMO, it's fast enough, looks great and is a practical, efficient car. i am very happy and feel that i made the correct decision with this purchase.

Hey, whats up with picking on the new people. I personally have been on this site for a short period of time and in that time have never asked or posted one thing about intakes, by the way i am making a custom one due to lack of $$ but never complained about it (i will post pics when i t gets done, probably in month), i did research found my answers and moved on (i did post an opionion poll on which pedals to buy but that was purley cause i liked both sets and was wondering if anyone had experience with them or liked one over the other for a particular reason) I also have never bitched about lack of parts, money etc. I knew buying a mazda that the market wasn't as big as honda, but i didn't care. I am not trying to bitch now, i just don't want to get stuck in some stereo type that the new people are killing this site, cause i am here to learn and gain knowledge and when i can add part of my limited, yet growing, knowledge or an opinion, i do so. I don't know what the site was like 6 months ago, but i know that I enjoy it today and yes some people post stupid questions but commonly that is because they don't know alot of info and need help, just remeber that.

I do agree though that if people are gonna bitch that there is no parts, when the parts come they should buy. I know i don't ahve the money so i don't ask for things i know i can't afford.

One more thing many of you that are complaining about the new people have helped me gain more knowldege through your post so not all of us are bad.

Well I think Patio is an exception...

Yeah he's fucked his motor a couple times but he has never come on and said "I hydrolocked my engine, **** MAZDA!"

I'm talking about that one MP3 guy that blew his motor with N20 and then came on here petitioning to get Mazda to recall engines because they aren't strong enough to hold a 75 shot.

Dumbass

I'm sure since you like to stay "abreast" of the protege world you have heard of Roger Foo. He races a protege5. There are numerous other protege racers and if you got money there are a ton of parts out there: quaife LSD, Motec engine management, roll gauges, full fiberglass front ends (and Carbon Fiber). This car can be a race car if you want it to!
Patio may be the exception because he had different problems....sorry for calling you out Patio.

You know, I posted a question like that, and must've pissed you off. All I can say is get over it.

Realize this:
New people to the forum don't know their way around, don't know what's been repetitively posted in the past, aren't aware that the FAQ has information on cars (usually FAQ is about computer related problems with the message board), and don't have the answers that you guys who've been here for a while do. So don't fault newcomers for not being omnipotent. That's just being shortsighted on your part, IMO.

One suggestion, there is such a thing as not reading or replying to the thread!!!

that meet was at mosport international speedway the other week when roger foo gave us a nice show at the track for th speed vision touring car challange

what it is liek now that so many ppl want to have "mini meets"
and no body goes to the official monthly meet even though it was planned 3-4 months in advance

our cars do not have short gears.. if you want a shorter ratio tranny, drive a PRELUDE!!!! going 100KPH its friggin at 3400 RPM!!! but it also rev's to 7.5K

and i don't think that 99.9% of us has asked stupid questions like that, alot YES but not almost everyone of us
