i usually always wear my leather gloves when driving, but they're not really made for driving. thats why i'm lookin for a new pair. it's much more comfortable wearing gloves and shifting, or steering imho. plus, like john said... it gets god damn cold out there during winter and i dont want my hands frozen to the steering wheel.

Men speciality stores usually carry driving gloves-like "Gentelman's Court", Sears may have them too.
When it's -20 outside, steering wheel/shift **** is icy cold. When it's +40 outside you leave layer of sweat on the steering wheel and all controls, which turn into nice stinky gunk as time passes.
Brand doesn't matter as long as they feel soft and comfy and fit just a bit better than O.J. glove.

I have a pair of isotoners I bought awhile back I wear in the winter. They are not intended to be driving gloves, but they fit really well, and have some little grips on the hands. May be a little cheaper than the stuff on the net if you can find a pair that fits.

I don't have any now....but I use to....I need another pair.....as I use them when I ride my harley too.....
for another solution....and a longer lasting glove...here is what I got once upon a time.....
UNPADDED HANDBALL GLOVES....yep you heard me....they are very soft....have the velcro strap that goes across the wrist to snug them up...and they are very form fitting to your hand....they are typically made of deerhide too....nice and soft. you can find them at major sporting goods stores.
you can also find some decent light weight gloves for this purpose at a good motorcycle shop too.
