annoying ex-friend getting owned
Recently the crew from bhamracing.com went to a drag strip and had a big race event. Lot fo fast cars turned out. I was not one of them.
I tell you that to tell you this:
In January I made a new friend with a 94 RX-7 TT...this guy litteraly has $30K in his car and claims over 370whp (I think, I may be off a little). He has an Apexi fuel computer, full exhaust, custom intake, huge FMIC, carbon fibre everything,..... A stock FD would run a 0-60mph in about 4.9s....IMPRESSIVE!! especially for a 225hp car. Now, this fella's car makes over 350hp so I would expect his time to be very fast.
After dealing with him and realizing he is NOT a person I want to have anything to do with he decides to talk crap about my car being a piece. This is the same guy who when I first met him was debating selling his acura to buy my car from me. I posted my time slips from the race track and everyone laughed at how slow it was. Anything under 14s was considered a watse of time. I of course shrugged it off. I like the FD's and just because I don't like the owners of them doesn't mean I have to crap on their car. They are nice cars...
Long story short..... The guy who called my car crap and mentioned how slow it was went to the track and couldn't even get his car to run right. His time? mid-to-high 16's....mine? 16.47s (before my header!). So who's driving crap now?!?! My car drove to the track, made about 15 passes (faster than his!) and drove home safely.....all at about 29mpg.
There is an inane sense of justice in the universe. My car is still running...his is getting a new $3-4K motor.

no, I wasn't actually at the event he ran at. I was at a different track.
The guy is just a complete jerk to me. He talks about me behind my back, calls me a liar, thief and a backstabber. He deserves everything he gets and then some.
Everyone on the forum was talking about how badass his car was until it ran!! hahaha

no his car runs like crap....he claims he only hit 7psi......instead of 10....I was like....SO?!?!?! It's a twin turbo RWD sports car lighter than my FWD 4cyl NA wagon and I'm faster!!
I don't care if he had NO boost...he should've still been faster. His motor took a **** on him (like every other 13B-REW I know of).
