Talking To those that live close to Vancouver

just a reminder if you're ever planning on coming up here that everything here is MUCH cheaper after the exchange rate. Tints usually cost 170-250$ for good ones (all in CDN funds)....

wheels with tires go between 1300$ CDN (for nice 17" that I was going to get ) to whatever

My boy (1fatEs) and I are coming up to Vancouver for the ImportRevolution show in July and were thinking about looking into getting some new Rims for his car. Do you know of very many shops that have alarge selection of wheels in stock?? We were thinking about getting a set of 18' Konigs if possible. Let us know if you know of a good place to go that would have good prices. Thanks

The largest tire/rim chain in vancouver is volco... just go to 1010tires.com and check out what you'd like. their stock ain't bad, and the prices are very reasonable too! If you're really serious, tell one of us what you need and we can check for you, possibly even put in an order to make sure that have it when you guys come up!

I REALLY need to get a new driver's seat for my Proto and was looking at Corbeau. Do you know of any shops up there that carry seats & sliders?? I have use a reclining seat due to the autocross rules, so the nice racing seats are out (plus I don't fit in them, damn Scandanavian genes!)

I know there are some shops in Richmond, I just haven't taken the time to drive up and check them out, any recommendations would be appreciated.

Temrich, I will look for a shop and let you know if I find something.... check back here and I will post what I find

king_girliegirl, yup, I can't wait to have you Seattle people up here. There's three Volco locations and plus a couple of other places that have a fairly large selection of wheels. As I said, I'll show you guys around one day and take you to the wheel dealers....

I still haven't checked out that website though Chumpman... if I ordered from them, where would I pick it up from?

if you order through 1010tires.com, normally they'd want to ship it to you, but if you mention that you're local, then the guy i talked to at Volco on Marine Dr. said you can pick it up there or any other store... you just have to tell them. I was looking at some OZ Crono Evolutions in 17x7+45... but they cost more than I want spend right now so I'm saving up and waiting for the price to drop!

Well it doesn't look like we're going to need to go wheel shopping whle we're up there cause the new 18's will be here on Monday, but we still want to see if we can find anything up there that we can't find down here so you'll still have to show us around to a few accessory shops.
