1991 LX 5 spd, 94K miles, Arizona car
We just bought an MP3, so the old Protege's up for sale.
It's a 1991 LX (DOHC) 5 speed with 94,000 original miles. The car has had two owners and always been an Arizona car. Grey/grey.
Power roof, mirrors, windows, and locks. Cruise, tilt, A/C, CD, and alloy wheels. Everything works except the right rear window.
The previous owner really took care of this car. He had decided to "keep it forever" and had a lot of work done... and then sold it to me. The timing belt was replaced at 66K miles and the car has a new A/C system. It's amazing how cold it is... even in AZ.
I'd swear he said the clutch was replaced, but I can't find that receipt. I have several, but not all receipts. The guy who sold me the car was a bit paranoid about giving me all the receipts(?). I begged him for the important ones, and he went through and crossed out his address, phone number, and credit card number and gave me a few.
Overall the car is in great shape, but needs paint (AZ sun is hard on cars). It has a few dings, but doesn't appear to have been hit. The interior is in super condition. We've had it for a few years and it's never let us down. Our ad comes out Sunday, Feb 16th in the Arizona Republic and on CARS.COM.
Asking $2200.
It's sold!
Sold for $2000 on 2/16/03
