is there an aftermarket throttle body for the NA 2.3L 3? or maybe a conversion to a cable TB? i can't seem to find one and i'm guessing its because its an electronic TB

 

it's an electronic throttle control from the car computer, I doubt there's an easy way to convert to a cable system... but there is a hole in the firewall in line with the accelerator, so you can get a cable in there.
Its possible some 2004 overseas models, (smaller engine) may have a cable driven system.

Why do you want to do this conversion anyway?

 

eh, it was mainly just a thought. the only thing to do around my place is go to the drag strip on friday nights. my car feels like it could go faster but its being held back...like the pedal is to the floor but the TB isnt open all the way.
