This should do you, since it's a spray, not a layer.

I hate that this is my first post here, but only because you asked if this was a bad idea...

Headlights are meant to be used to illuminate where your going. Tail lights are meant to indicate to individuals who follow where you are and if you are turning or stopping.

Please don't give me the excuse that you don't drive at night. Even if it is irregular, at some time you will, at that is when the potential for exists.

Tinting headlights/tail lights is foolish and illegal in most states... for a reason. It is a huge safety issue to yourself and others on the road.

as another first (or 2nd) time posting on this forum, I'll agree with TRM3HGT that it is dangerous and illegal in most states, however, if done right, can be done to an almost OEM spec quality (like on VW's, some come with SLIGHTLY tinted tails)

On my truck, I tinted my front turn's by painting them with tinted clear coat, a few drops of black toner in some clear would be fine. Add a flex agent to the clear and it will be MUCH more durable, and chip resistant. IMHO you should have this done at a shop, or by someone who know's what their doing, as you need to apply even coats to get the right tint without over tinting and making a dangerously dark light!

Just my .02 hope that helps!
