What was this "computer upgrade" dealership did?

What was this "computer upgrade" dealership did?

I've got a 2010 MZ 3 with like 45,000 miles on it. Took it to dealership today and they did oil change and also said they did the computer upgrade.

Anyone know what they did to the computer. Or is anything actually different now or more efficient now or anything good that I will see from it like a better gas mileage or better performance?

Just curious. Thanks.

THey said they needed to order a harness for the "recall" it has. I can't believe they don't have them there already.

I imagine there was just a TSB reflash and not an actual computer replacement, then again I'm just guessing.

For the harness it's possible they're just out of them at the moment.
