wet floor (passenger side and back)

About a week ago I found out the floor, in my 2008 Mazda3, on the passenger side in the back is all wet. Anyone know what can cause this?

Yeah, your drain hole is plugged up from the evaporator........more than likely. I'm new to the 3 but most A/C units have the evaporator located right behind and beneath the glove box. It works very similar to any A/C in that there should be a small pan and a drain hose that leads out underneath the car. This may be plugged up and may need to be cleaned. I'll take a look at the service manuals and see if I can direct you somewhat better, but take a look. Maybe someone else will chime in with more info.

I had the same thing happen to an Acura Integra I used to have. There is a small rubber/plastic tube that goes from the evaporator out through the firewall (i think) and dumps out to the bottom of your car. What happens is sometimes it gets clogged (how I am not sure) and the water from condensation backs up and spills onto the floor. I tried to unclog it myself, but was unsuccessful. I had to take to the dealer to fix it. $90 it was fixed. Hope my input helps.
