Warranty Question

This ******* in my neighborhood like 2 weeks ago shot my left quarter window with a bb gun and shattered the whole window; and now it's falling in.

I just got my car in April so it's still under warranty. I was wondering if anybody would know whether or not the warranty would cover my window considering it was vandalism...

this MUST be your first car......that is NOT a warranty issue. It's an insurance claim for you and an ***-whooping for your neighbor. First go to your neighbor and get them to pay for it. If they don't then call your police. Have the police make a report and report it to your insurance company so they can send the neighbors to collections.

Thanx!

We got the police involved and everything already...I just still need to get a new window but the dealer said it's gonna cost $3870 just for the window. I know we'll have to get the insurance involved but I'm hoping it won't raise my rates.

if you pay mazda $3780 for that window you are a fool. Any local glass shop will do it for less than $500.

That price is insane. I cannot beleive that. My 2003 BMW got broken into and the driver side window was busted and replacing it only cost 400. sheesh.

For almost 4000 dollars you better not even have a door.

My buddy smacked a curb with his BMW and had to get 2 new wheels, 2 new tires, a two new axles, and it still didn't cost that much. Go to your dealer and throw him threw his side window and then tell him it's gonna cost him $4k for the new window and see how he reacts. They are full of it...go to another dealer.

Do you happen to mean $38.70??? because that sounds a lot closer to a real price! Maybe $387.00?

well...whatever they want from me for a new window really doesn't matter anymore. My mommy called our insurance company today and now our insurance company is sending some glass guys to my house on Tuesday, sometime between 8 and 12, to replace my window. And the best part is...0 deductable! They're gonna do it all for free. So now, I'm gonna have to find a ride to school on Tuesday since I can't take my car, but by the time I come home it'll be fixed; yay!
