traction control?

is there any way to turn it off on an 07 3?
the fact that power cuts out when my tires spin and my little blinky tire sliding light comes on irritates me.
if i want to make my tires bald, why stop me mazda?
lol.
thanks for any who help.

There should be a switch on the lower left side of the steering wheel. A little below the left side vents. If you have a GT, same place as the headlight height adjuster.

traction control

Actaully yeah there is a button for the DSC to the left of the sterring wheel. If you want to turn off the DSC and the Traction control you want to hold the DSC button down while turing the car on. About two seconds later you will see the dsc button blink, then simply let go and both will be disabled. Both lights will be alluminated to let you know. Look in the stero button code section for more info.

MY 07 2.3 hatch back has it, and its not the speed, its da sport, even though i love speed my pick up on mine is very satisfying to me, and im very performance oriented, i traded in my sxt caliber and now laugh at them when i see one, im thinking poor sucker, i love mine so much i plan to keep it to da wheels fall off, this is definatley a block buster hit for me, id rather have this car than any other on da planet, and im 41 yrs old, sorry to stray from the subject, but i had to throw that in there, i hope itll last 200,000 miles or more. this is my baby and thats how it gets treated

You can get traction control in the hatch,it depends on what package you bought. My hatch "touring" has it! Lesser models do not have it.
