Test drove Mazda3, seat too small for me, darn

Well, I finally test drove a 2010 Mazda 3 5door sport with Bose and sunroof. The salesman suggested a test drive and I had been thinking about doing that.

I'm 6'2" tall with long legs. Driver's seat is just too small for me. My legs go to the side a little bit cause lack of legroom (seat was all the way back/down), so those side thingies on seat don't feel good. Plus the seat is short and doesn't support my thighs.

Too bad, it's a cute car and tell you what, the Bose sound system was pretty darn good for a factory audio system - sharp highs and decent bass presence.

Beautiful interior on the car - dash design is fab. It drove fine too.

Too bad. Probably the whole car would need to upsized slightly with bit larger seat to work for me. And least I checked it out. Was worth checking out.

I drove to Mazda in a rental 2010 Matrix S AWD. JBL sound system was not so good in that. It drove fine on the backroads though. Interior not a sexy as the 3 though. Same problem with seats for me. I need something more like a Venza or CX-7.

..... but,

I will go back and try the Grand Touring ... the power leather seat could be more comfortable.

Didn't work, seat is too narrow. Bose sound system wasn't happening for me, but that's a moot point anyway.

Neat car, but not for me.

Bose is overated in some cars . 2004 Maxima with bose only marginally better sounding that the standard 6 speaker No Sub system in my 2004 Mazda 3. Best bose car hands down was the older seville sts with Bose 4.0 option. It rocked the house so to speak.
