Hi all,
I'm a new owner of a mazda 3 today, I just notice that after i shutdown the engine and took they key out, the security indicator light flashes every 2 seconds, and it will lock up the doors after 30 seconds or so. I don't remember this happened to me before, is it normal and if there's any way to turn the auto lock feature off?

The light flashing is normal, I had the same doubt and asked the service manager at my dealer and he confirmed that is normal. It flash so intruders may think twice before breaking into the car... kind of fake alarm thing...

 

thanks, I'm just a little concern since i don't quite remember i see that light flashing when i bought it.
