Replacing BOSE with aftermarket.

I've considered replacing the Bose deck that comes with the 06 sGrand Touring. The speakers sound fine but at about Vol 30 the deck will attenuate and you can hear a bit of muffling (as if to allow for the volume without distorting the overall sound). I hear "but dude, it's a Bose!" and that doesn't warrant me keeping the thing in there. Im looking for an aftermarket dash kit and have read only Single-DIN are available.

Any sites for 06 Mazda3 dashkits?

What repercussions might I face with regard to replacing the deck but still having my in-dash 6 cd changer?

As always....ANY photos of someone's interior once the change has been made....we all wanna see it...cmon...don't be bashful.

changing out pieces of a high-end factory system is always more trouble than it's worth. there are probably separate amps and crossovers somewhere other than the deck. the factory deck may have no amplification at all. if so and you then wire an aftermarket deck to the existing wiring it will be pushing line level into preamp inputs. also, your changer may be hardwired into the deck instead of with a standard plug, making it a pita to hook it up and control it via the new deck. i don't have any experience with the 6 or with bose car-fi but my advice would be either call a professional about your specific aplication or go for the gold with new deck/changer/amps/speakers/sub.
