Hi guys, my wife has a 04 Mazda 3 and been having some issue, as usual, the dealer wasn't very helpful, so I'm wondering if anybody here can help.

He radio and dash has been resetting itself occasionally last summer. When we took it in, the dealer said some BS about the radio wasn't turned off when the car. It was happening again a few days ago, and this morning, instead of a delay to turn on and reset, the radio doesn't work at all. I tried search for a TSB, but couldn't find anything. Has anybody experienced this problem before? Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like a short somewhere to me. Others may have a better idea of what it might be. I would pull the radio out and use a voltage tester on the power wire to see if it is getting any power at all.
