Hello everyone,

I just recently purchased a 2006 Mazda 3i. I've been browsing around on the internet for a bit trying to find some sites with people who have similar interests and seem knowledgeable about their cars. I'm really excited about it and was wondering if anybody could spare some advice on it. Im not a major motorhead but im really trying to dig for information about it. I could only afford the 2.0 (that made baby jesus cry) BUT i couldn't pass it up for the deal i got. I'll be looking forward to hearing from someone at least.. (i hope!)

Thanks for your time,
-Robbie

thanks! =:) i was wondering what kinda mods were available for the 2.0 all i've seen so far is exhaust, short box air intake, and short shifter kits. Also are previous parts from mazda 3's compatible with the 2k6 as well as 2k5 mazdaspeed stuff? or can parts for the 2.3 be fitted to the 2.0? i'm sure i'll have more questions but thats what im mostly curious about at the moment.

Thanks again!

the mazdaspeed stuff with the exception of the pedals will work on the 06 models. all the suspension goodies should work without a problem. even the hiboost turbo kit should bolt up with relative ease.

All of the bolt-on mods will work with either engine. I've got two kinds of intakes in stock for your car and also will have headers available in about four weeks--headers are on the way from Taiwan.
Check out the vendor section for info on the intakes and in this section there's a thread about the header.

thanks kargo. i'll check it out right now. Any preferences for intakes? starting to put together a wish list/to-do list type deal. making sure i look into this before i do anything that might void my warranty.
