Did your MS3 come with a cable for the MS3 jack? Mine didn't...

What trim level did you get?

The Bose system on the GT is supposed to have an aux input in the center storage box.

All 2007 Mazda 3's regular or speed, with or without Bose come with the 3.5mm input in the center console. None of them come with a cable.

Go to radio shack and buy a cheap 3.5mm cable... it doesn't have to be anything special. Mine was about $5. Also there are multiple kinds that retract which could help with cord tangles and storage. Something like this.

AUX Input - Not Working

Is there a trick to get this to work? I got the cable hooked in and I press the "Media" button and nothing happens. I tried making sure that the mp3 player was playing first...still nothing. Any Ideas?

You wouldn't happen to have the Sirius package installed, would you?

Yes..Yes I Do. Let me guess, the Sirius uses the same input jack as the AUX therefor I am in a one or the other situation? Or I can spend $110 to get a switcher. Right?

If you have a 2007 model with the jack in the center console armrest compartment then yes, you can play stuff off anything with a 3.5mm output (read: headphone)

Square looking peice - you mean the ashtray?
In any case it's under the armrest - which is behind the handbrake.

The jack and power port are on the front wall of the lower compartment of the armrest bin. Open it up and look.... you can't miss them.

I assume by 'lil square looking piece' that you're talking about the little pop out panel next to the e-brake and behind the cupholders? That's just an access port to adjust the e-brake tension.
