what kinda parts both OEM and aftermarket are interchangable between the protege and the mazda3? any help?

There is alot different with the 3 2.0L and the Protege 2.0L.
Different lay out, different parts, different tanny, everything is different.

I bet some of the fasteners are interchangeable.

But, yeah, these are two totally different engines. You can tell this just by driving them, they feel totally different. The new engine has more top end, weaker midrange, and is much smoother and quieter.

Actually, I'm basing this on the 2.3. I'm assuming that the new 2.0 feels much the same, just weaker.
