GarnetMica, the solution to your problem is simple and doesn't require a trip to the dealer. Go to your local pick-your-own-part salvage yard and get two buckles and stick them into the belt slots next to each of the front seats. You will more than likely not find any Mazda3s in the yard quite yet, but I've found that buckles from a mid to late 90s Contour/Mystique work perfectly. And this method has the added bonus of being completely reversable, just pop them back out and everything is back to normal.

To all of you others with suggestions, GarnetMicas question was "How do I disable the seatbelt reminder buzzer" not, "Please preach to me because me or my friend doesn't want to wear the seatbelt". I do not wear a seatbelt, but that is MY choice, not anyone elses, and if I have an accident, I will suffer the consequences. Some of you need to worry more about yourselves and less about others.

So I guess this isn't as easy as just undoing the fuse? Maybe I'm just used to my Isuzu that only took going to the fuse box, looking for the fuse, and unplugging it like you would unplug a phone line from the jack.

I think I said that a few posts ago. Really, you guys are trying too hard. The fuse box is labeled right under the hood. Not that hard to find.

Wear ear muffs or upgarde the stereo so you cant hear it I can understand the need to customise a car but the fact that this thread has reached 3 pages without really answering the question is quite funny. Even I had to type something... lol

Then you probably see a lot what happens to people who do not wear them?

[COLOR=Black]Read the manual, there is one in the engine bay under a cover, and the other under the glove compartment on the passangers side. The passanger fuse box is only held by 2 clips i think or something like that.

question, who ever is debating on this, are you going to see some random person without their seatbelt on and tell them to stop and put it on because they could get ejected from their car? because that pretty much what we are doing here, star a different subject thread please lol sheesh
