Hey. this is my first thread.......
any way i spun a bearing in my 2004 mazda 3 2.3 sedan. Low oil. Over rev
found a decent 2005 engine to swap out with the old with but not sure if i will have to reprogram my ecu or get the 2005 ecu. is there a diffrence? I looked up and the 2005 engine is the same horsepower but gets better mpg. in a panick cause i have 3 days to fix it and have a low budget any advie?

 

ck first if the pins are equal, I think that 04 05 06 are the same ecu for those years, although if I'm not mistaken the 04 is mitsubishi brand and the 05 is bosh.... Ill let you know tomorrow
