Exclamation Looking to buy Mazda 3

Hey guys!

I am looking to buy a new car and I am stuck between the Cobalt SS and the Mazda 3 Sedan. I went to the dealership today and test drove the Mazda 3 (Auto / Sedan) and am just wondering;

- overall what do you think about this car?
- reliability?
- common problems?
- etc, etc.?

I know you all are on these message boards because you own and like this car but I am just wanting to know the pros and cons of owning the vehicle that the dealers *obviously* wouldn't tell me.

Any and all information that could help me with my decision would be greatly appreciated...

the cobalt SS will be faster than a 3S sedan. However the 3S is a MUCH better car. MUCH better.

Chevy = junk.

fyi, chevy is dropping the cobalt SS package, cuz its a 'disgrace' to the "Super Sport" trim package

(according to my auto teacher, btw)

Wink

I just baught myself a 3 sedan [manual] last night. I did a ton of homework to find exactly what I needed for an awesome price.

I can't say I even considered the Colbalt though

Since I plan to have this car for a while I wanted the hardcore airbag package and the excellent suspension can't be beat. I think this and my boyfriend's '03 Evo viii will be our family cars and just plan to get myself a bike for a graduation present in a few years lol but it won't be hard to work on the 3 at all if I get the itch.

I'm stoked about my car, your choice on which car to choose shouldn't of been contimplated enough to actually make a new post.

I've had my '07 5spd 3GTS hatchback for about 6 months now, and I'm very pleased with it.

I've compared it to a Honda Civic, Toyota Matrix/Ponitac Vibe, and Ford Focus... The quality of the fit & finish is something you'd expect to find in cars costing 10k more! I think it represents the ultimate in value for this class of car; not only does it look awesome, but it's fun to drive to boot!

If you don't mind a hatch, check out the MazdaSpeed 3. I've had mine for about 5 months now and still enjoying it!

Too Bad

I think it's too late to reply to the OP as she already bought a crappy Cobalt SS.

She should have bought a MazdaSpeed 3 instead. Too bad.
