information display programming

hey, I have an 05 Mazda 3, and I want to reprogram the welcome "hello" message on the CD player information display...I have heard you can do this, but after Ihave googled and looked in the manual for it, I can not find how to do this...anyone been able to do this yet??

We went through this on the 6 Club back in 02. It appears that the display is controlled by the head unit. If you have the Bose stereo it reads "Bose" ILO the standard "hello".
Perhaps someone at United Radio can program what ever you want it to display.

It should be in the software of the unit. Whoever did the software he can change it
