help with minor collision damages

Hi everyone, i was wondering considering i'm not the guy that knows how to fix dents and scratches, but i have seen and been told its not that hard, or costly. i was wondering, if using the heatgun and then pushing it back into the original shape would work im not sure if its the right plastic or whatever, basically im just double checking to make sure it would be ok to give it a try. and would you think the deepness of this dent would be able to work using that method? thank you.
