those pipes in the FRONT of the engine bay are the intake manifold runners

yea that's the intake manifold. the black lil thing? i'm thinking it's going to be hard to install the header if it's on the back of the engine

The fact that the front pipes are plastic sealed the lulz in for me.

what was funny for me was that everyone just assumed you knew the proper placement of the header and we're all saying "yeah it's right"....but it wasn't until someone pointed out that you thought it went on the front of the engine that it got funny.

simple mistake, hillarious story.

A much more sensible engine layout if you ask me.. makes for a more direct exhaust path, shorter exhaust piping, shorter intake piping, etc. Of course for a turbo application it makes life a total pain in the bum

^^ Sensible, yes. Shiny new headers to look at right when you open the hood, no

Seems like back of the engine makes install work a bigger pain too, though I have never actually worked on a car with this setup.

Triggarise what are you using to avoid the CEL from turning on? I found a vibrant header that says it has the 02 relocation kit with it....anyone have experience with it?
