First service issue, check engine..

Have 6400 miles on my 2006 Mazda 3 with 2.3 engine and had to take in for a check engine light. Dealer had to replace the PCV hose assembly and lube the intake manifold butterfly shaft.?.? Anyone else have such a condition?

My check engine light camo on twice in 10 days. Dealer said I didn't close the gas cap properly... WTF? After owning the car over a year I do know how to close the damn cap. And twice in 10 days?? Yeah right......
Anyway... now it's ok

btw there's a lot of people complaining that that's what the dealer tells them when the CEL comes on

I got a CEL around 7,000, right after the car had been in for regular service. They said there was some kind of computer glitch and they had to do some reprogram thingy, yada yada. Anyway, Mazda Corp had gotten a few dozen complaints in the last couple of weeks about the same type of issue, so if it continues it could be a potential recall to fix the computer problem. Hmmm...
