A/C compressor running when it shouldnt
Hi, new here and only had a 3 for a couple months and about 3k miles. It's a 2004 sedan with the 2.0 engine. 123000 miles with a great service history. I noticed a small puddle of clear water in the garage yesterday after driving it. Definitely not coolant or oil. Got me thinking condensation from a/c but hadn't been using it or defroster. Had the fan selector **** ( for lack of a better description) set on floor. Today after work I started it and my phone rang so I sat for a minute talking with it idling. I noticed the sound of the compressor cycling and idle moving up and down a little. Did some testing when I got home and found the compressor cycles on all settings from straight up (floor) all the way to the right (defrost only) As soon as you move it from straight up going left it cycles off. And stays off. Anyone experienced this before. Sorry if this is too long
