AFT oil change HELP!

HELP! I was changing the oil in my brand new Mazda3 and I unscrewed the ATF plug by mistake! Is there anything tricky to replacing the atf fluid (air breather valve or something??) or do I simply put in new stuff and don't worry about it?? Thanks so much......

Just use the fill tube on the ATF dipstick to measure out how much fluid you lost in the mistake. Make sure to take your readings with the engine warmed up. Then remove the dipstick tube for the ATF and with a funnel replace what was lost. Shift up and down through the gears (P-R-N-D-N-R-P) several times allowing the tranny to lock into gear. This process helps burp air out of the system to give a more accurate reading.

Drive it around the block a few times and recheck level before shutting it off.
