Just bought a great shape 22k 2013 mazda 3. Love the car. Only thing I dont love was the 1 remove/key that it came with. After reading I purchased a 4 button with a blank key to get set up as a second of both. I found what i thought were the instructions but can't seem to get the ECU to recognize. It's a push button start.. the directions I had in step 4 to turn key on/off.... I did the key in and pushed start 2X for ACC then ON.. tried the directions and nothing...

Question - I have only 1 working remote and key - Can I program a second without the dealer? If so, can someone point me to such witchcraft so I can have second start option and peace of mind...
