tgladden, yea i have noticed the same problem with my car ('06 4-door i manual), i am pretty sure it is normal thought. my friend has a gt mustang and i have noticed the same issues.

and as far as gas goes, i'm not sure what everyone is doing on this forum. I easily get over 400 miles of range for each fill up at the station. My car is completely stock, and i am known for having a lead foot too. I don't use any additives, just regular 87 octane gas and regular jiffy lube visits.
