Please advise what to do

I went out and purchased a set of used 17" stock Mazda 3 5dr GT wheel with P205/50R17 tires on them already, and my plan it's to use them on my 07 speed3 for the winter. I just cam eback from the Mazda dealership and they advised me it's not possible to fit them as the front brake calipers dosen't have enough clearance....and now they are trying to sell me a set of winter tire and rims for $1620CAD.....what to do....is it true that it won't fit????

I just got off the phone with another dealership and they also advised me that the regular 3's 17" wheel will not fit the speed 3 because of the larger front brake calipers, however the rear tire will fit.......what a nightmare it's going to be from now on.....

I've seen more than one Mazdaspeed3 with 17" steelies, so I would hope any 17 fits and not just a handful.

It doesn't have brakes as large as the Mazdaspeed6 which can only do 18s. They might be getting the two confused.
