Lowering Springs

My Girlfriend just bought a 2006 Mazda 3I and is wanting to lower it....but she would like to maintain her ride quality as much as possible....so i thought i would see if anyone on this site had any suggestions. Most of the springs i have looked at say that they give a much stiffer ride.

ANY lowering springs will firm up the ride...Very rare do you see a lowering spring that doesnt have a higher spring rate than stock

I realize any set of springs we get are going to firm up the ride..... but i know there are spring out there that have spring a rate that is only 5% above factory springs...... I am just trying to get some feed back..... I suppose i should list some of the springs i have been looking at....i also should state that she has a budget....she is trying to keep it under $300....Any feed back on these would be great.

I am Looking at

1. Tein luxury Master H-Tech Springs

2. Eibach Pro Kit Springs

3. H&R Sport Springs

4. Tanabe NF210 Springs

5. Skunk2 Lowering springs

In my experience, Teins are the least stiff, followed by Eibach, then H&R, I haven't ridden in a car with Tanabe or Skunk, but I heard that Skunk2s are stiff as hell.

Personally i have been looking into racing beat springs, becuase they are claimed to be designed strictly for performance, so the drop is very minimal (.75 inches i believe)

i figure those would be pretty comfy.
