TPS ID and Specs

I'm trying to find the TPS and checks its proper operation. Is it attached directly on top of the TB or below? What are the operational specs? I think mine's bad and causing other issues. Can I get a parts diagram blow-up? Thanks.

mine on my 03 p5 is on the right side of the TB...it's a black plastic piece with a connector going into it. There will be 3 wires. white, black and green (iirc). You'll test the green (signal wire) There should be a sweep of 0v-5v. If it's not constant or doesn't reach either voltage limit then there's a problem.

TPS failure is rare IMHO.

We need the year/engine of the vehicle and I can try and get that blow up.

Yeah... I checked it out yesterday on the multimeter. It seemed okay: 2.0L 2001. Resistance between two of the three connections (not signal wire) was 1150 to 4590 Ohms from closed throttle to WOT. Not sure if within specs but definately working. I was ruling it out as part of my ATX troubleshooting procedure. [see thread in general area.]
