95 protege dx 1.5L. car runs rich, bad gas milage, accelerates and decelerates fine, but when try to hold steady speed it lurces and gallops, a slight acceleration will bring it out of this. I have cleaned EGR valve, replaced air and fuel filters, and had injectors removed and reconditioned and cleaned spark plugs. still lurches at ANY steady speed. can it be MAF? anyone have a recommendation? odd thing is that check engine light has not come on.
