Does anyone know what the sound limit is for *ahem* unmuffled cars? What about having it checked; what's the best way to have it checked?

I'm running my Miata with no muffler right now since it was pretty much rusted through. It sounds kinda cool, really, but is quite loud.

 

My region has a sound limit of 95dba for all cars which may or may not be monitored during some events.

I guess you could call up your region and ask about their sound measuring methods if you wanted to do it yourself.
