Whoa...

Tell me everything you got for your $100. I might be able to suggest a way for you to use all those parts and just pick up a couple of more to make your kit complete for about $100-125 more.

BTW, I sell NX kits for UNDER $500 and under $750 with bottle heater, blowdown tube, pressure gauge and fuel pressure safety switch.

E-Mail or PM me I can help you either way...

High Compression with nitrous is not a issue. You have a couple of options.

You can have your head ported and polished. The polishing will remove any cast "flash" in your combustion chamber, which cuts down on the chance of you getting detonation with high compression and pump gas.

You can also help that by having your pistons coated with a thermal barrier by HPC or Swaintech.

The other is using a good aftermarket ignition like MSD's DIS-2 or Crane Hi6Di2 ignition. These add the function of on demand retard, which would only come into play once the nitrous system is armed or the nitrous solnoid is engerized.

Nitrous loved high compression. Don't be lulled into thinking that just because most turbo or supercharged cars aren't high compression that nitrous car's can't be too.

No offense or anything, but I always thought these cars were faster than that. The only one I have ridden in is a 95 1.5 Atx but I figured with a stick it would have some ***** behind it.

If I had a stick I'd be much faster.....thats why Im swapping my tranny for a 5 speed as soon as a friend at the dealer finds a wrecked 3rd Gen protege.
