What the hell is wrong with you guys? Going to visit your parents!?!? I've been ignoring mine for years. 
Anyway I like that idea. I've never really gotten to show my woman the monument.

The San Jacinto Battleground Monument. Its about 30 minutes away from downtown, pretty much in your direction. I think there is an exit off of I-10 on the way into Houston.

We, Import Car Club Houston, will be throwing a huge BBQ, I dont think we have a name for it, something like Import BBQ Showoff... or umm cookoff? showoff, yeah that sounds good, lol.
anyway, we're throwing it at Clear Lake Park, we did this last year with just us and Team Import-Motion from Houston, but EVERYONE is invited, I've been reading yalls forum (man, i said "yall"
) for a while now, seem pretty cool, just wanted to let ya know youre invited
BBQ is July 7th @ Clear Lake Park, free food man!!!!!!
