yeah wil...in YOUR neck of the woods you get in your car and drive a few hours and you have crossed about 4 state lines! lol here you have only gone ACROSS TOWN!

and for those of you that are actually thinking about coming....I have a serious question....are the girlfriends and wives going to be coming too? just want to ensure I bring mine along if they are....don't want to leave her out ya know... :{D just something to think about. if its going to be a GUY thing...thats cool...just want to know ahead of time.

and just so its clear.....I didn't mean are you going to bring your girlfriend AND your wife...one will be sufficient if WE are bringing women...lol wouldn't want to stir up any trouble now would we! lol

My wife and 6 month old boy would be going.

You know...(Off Topic) I was outside the other day checking fluids and such the other day and my son was in his stroller watching me. Well I gunned the engine from the throttle and (you know how throaty it sounds with Air intake on) my son got all excited, his eyes opened wide and he just started smiling and stuff. My wife started yelling at me..."He is too young for you to be teaching him that" I about fell to the ground laughing...man I was so proud...I think I am going to have a little race car driver when he gets older.

Very cool story.

When my 17-month old is in the car, I know I'm cornering a bit hard when I hear "wheeeee" coming from the back seat.

So are we on for this meet or what? And if so, which date?

I think the only date that hasn't been shot down so far is June 22nd. And yeah. I'll be bringing the little lady with me too. If someone knows a nice park on Galveston (with BBQ pits and such) that would be an excellent place (or elsewhere).

I hate to say it....but my summer plans just got changed.....due to my wifes time off...my vacation moved up....I am leaving for vacation on June 20th....and won't be back till just before July 4th. So, guess that leaves me out. :{(

Cool, I think June 22nd is open for me--I'll have to check about the wife and little one. The amp should be in by then, too, so that might be cool.

Bummer you won't be able to make it, Sir Nuke. I was hoping to meet ya!

I'm still curious when the next tuner type event is coming up. With so few people going I think that would be better. That way everyone could meet each other and then go see the show. I wish the Autoshow wasn't already over. That would have been perfect.

Also... Just for those of you who ever looked at my signature you will notice that the 1983 F150 351W will be disappearing. Mainly due to a lack of desire to make it street legal. A family member is coming down, trailering the beast away, and taking it off my hands! Now I can replace it with something else! Car shopping time!

Okay. I got invited to go fishing on the 22nd now. So I give up for June. So here is what I'm thinking. Awhile back I was down at San Jacinto and the Mopar guys were having a little meet. I bet we would have to get permission from the park or something but that would be great. We could all meet, have a barbeque, and go home.

well if we are going to start shooting for some time in July....we better start tossing some dates around to see who can go when....and the San Jacinto park thing works for me. My mom and dad only live like 30 minutes from there....I can go up the day before...stay with them over night and visit...then make the party and not have a long drive... :{D

ahhhhh as far as July....any weekend other than the 4th is good for me....as far as I know anyway! lol
